A little about me

and why I love real estate

I was born in the city of Charlotte. With exception of a short period of time building on
culinary experience/education outside of NC, Charlotte has been my home. I have
held various roles at a large contract food service company, including in
compliance and category development. Prior to this, I was an instructor at a
culinary college teaching in-person classes and assisted in class curriculum.
As a professional on both sides of the service
industry – educator and service provider, I am very adaptable, a self-starter, goal-oriented,
personable, and an excellent communicator.

I started thinking about the real estate industry over a decade
ago, and saw an opportunity once the pandemic hit. This was my chance to pursue
my passion as a broker and I knew my current experience would help me.
I have always had an interest in the real
estate market, including listings and transitioning of neighborhoods –
old/established to new builds and/or renovations.
As a “true Charlottean” I have been
an observer of growth in and around the city particularly during the last ten
years. I have always had a love of architecture, design, landscaping; and there
is such a variety in Charlotte metro regardless of the community – this is part
of my Sunday sightseeing tour!

While my career as a broker is new, my sincere commitment to this business and personal success is solid. I am confident that my 15+
years as a business professional and excellent communicative skills will be a
key my success. Also, as a new broker, I plan to focus on providing the best
service to my clients. I want the clients to feel as special and cared for as I
desire when personally making such an investment. While I greatly appreciate
having a mentor, I plan to be my own advocate - self-driven to succeed, willing
to learn, and fully utilize all resources available.

On a lighter side, as a chef, I love nice restaurants with beautifully prepared food that is
both delicious and unique – I enjoy discovering different and new places to experience.  Also, my love of
renovating/construction of homes started around 10 years old when I watched
every week - Bob Vila – This Old House. I loved watching the transition from
start to finish – beautiful results and a happy homeowner.
